Schuyler Glidden has been a leader in the wholesale electronics industry for over 20 years, and has been responsible for pioneering changes in the electronics distribution marketplace. He founded SGI in 1995 with an aim to change the accepted distribution model in order to ensure “peace of mind” for global EMS and OEM companies buying electronic components. Mr. Glidden is a founding member of IDEA, the Independent Distributors of Electronics Association, and is a 6 year member of Vistage International. Prior to SGI, Mr. Glidden founded ASI, another successful electronics wholesaler. Mr. Glidden is a graduate of Lake Forest College with a degree in Comparative World Literature. He lives on the North Shore of Boston with his wife and three children. Thomas PikeVice President, Operations and Quality AssuranceMr. Pike has been employed with SG Industries since 2002. He has held various operational and management positions within the company since his hire. He was promoted to his current role in 2006. Prior to SG Industries, Tom was employed by one of the largest global independent distributors where he held various senior managerial positions. He was ultimately responsible for the management, growth and overall success of the corporate operations as the company grew to over 350 employees and $1 billion in sales. In his final role as Director of Global Logistics Integration he was instrumental in the launch of several of the company’s international offices while ensuring the quality and worldwide delivery of over a billion dollars worth of electronic components annually. With over 25 years of industry experience, Tom’s knowledge, contacts, dedication to quality, and ability to develop and foster a professional corporate culture make him an integral part of the Executive Leadership Team of SG Industries. Tom resides with his wife and four children on the North Shore of Massachusetts. |
